1988: Formed as a sole proprietorship, The Bill Romine Company, we have been matching our customers with manufacturers of state-of-the-art Electronic, Lighting and Decorative products and technologies for over 30 years.
1994: We incorporated as Romine Marketing & Sales, Inc. (RMS Inc) with Bill Romine including employees Paul Baughman and Jerry Huelsman as co-owners. RMS Inc instituted a strategy of representing companies with unique technologies requiring significant collaboration with our customers’ Engineering Departments.
2001: We started building our team beyond the original owners by adding Jeff Houck as a Territory Manager.
2005: Our original co-owner Paul Baughman retired. To maintain our support, we hired Bruce Baunach as a Territory Manager. Bruce was the VP Sales/Marketing for two of our manufacturing companies.
2012: To enhance our support to both our customers and our manufacturers, we hired Jen Huelsman as Inside Sales and Administration.
2014: Founder Bill Romine retired leaving a thriving RMS Inc. Jerry Huelsman assumed 100% ownership of RMS Inc. Jeff Houck also retired and Mark Rein joined RMS as a Territory Manager. Mark was in Sales/Marketing for a Radio Station.
2015: Jeff Malec joined RMS as the Technical Director and Territory Manager. Jeff was the Director of Engineering for one of our large customers.
2018: John Huelsman joined RMS to help expand our sales coverage to the Mid-South. John previously was a recognized “Young Professional in the Music Business” in Nashville.
2020: RMS partnered with Link2Launch, founded by RMS Technical Director Jeff Malec. Link2Launch is positioned to fill the gap between developer and manufacturer. Help define product goals, design prototypes, and connect you to the right partner companies for the best possible launch.
THE PRESENT: RMS Inc remains dedicated to high-level representation of technology-based companies. We are especially excited when we see collaboration between our represented companies to provide even more complete solutions for our customers.
